Latest, but not so recent email!

9/4/12

Well this was an interesting week. Lots of things happened, though unfortunately limited our proselytizing time. We didnt get to teach too many lessons, but it all works out. I guess theres not a whole lot of things to write about for the week. Church meetings were good on Sunday and I have really been enjoying my studies.
As yesterday was a holiday, the library was closed. That means we had a shortened preparation day and time today to email. The rest of the day went fairly well. We were invited to a family's place for lunch and it was incredibly delicious American food. Elder Campbell was sick for the latter part of the day and so I had a lot of time to go through the ward directory and find who was where and such. It should help us a lot in our efforts with the english area.
Thats about the extent of things. We have an investigator that should be getting baptized this saturday. Its not much of our own doing but after years of investigating, she has finally decided to be baptized. That will be much enjoyed in the branch as the members know here so well (her mother is the Relief Society president). Hopefully there are more exciting things to write about this next week!

I'm glad to hear that everything went well with the move this last week! It is certainly exciting and will be very strange to go back home with things so different. Good thing I dont have to worry about that for a while.

Make it a great week!

Love,
Elder Phong Manhardt
